Well folks, it's finally (officially) here. Since it was yanked from the S3 (and put through a beta period), Android users have been anticipating the "Social Magazine" which has already seen great success on iOS. The app, which is billed as "the one thing to simplify your daily life," hit the Play Store tonight, bringing a social news reader with an innovative user interface to Android users everywhere.
For those unfamiliar with Flipboard, the app allows users to not only read news related to their favorite topics, but to share what they're reading and "be amazed by what [they] see when everything people are sharing, collecting, and publishing in every moment comes together in a single place." Users can connect Flipboard to 12 social networks ranging from Twitter and Facebook to Instagram, Google+, YouTube, Google Reader, and more. The app's interface provides visually rich information at a quick glance, and features constantly updated Cover Stories.

The app also has a handy Content Guide to help users discover new content. Best of all, Flipboard is free and available in 14 localized editions including those for Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Spain, Taiwan, the U.S. and the U.K.
If you haven't already, click through the widget below to get a hold of one of the best social news readers ever created.

Flipboard only launched its Android app recently. The app allows users to browse through their Facebook, Twitter and Google+ streams, as well as Google Reader feeds in a beautiful flipping manner. It also consolidates and curates a stream of important stories for those who are too busy to go through everything. As a blogger, using this app and browsing through interesting news content daily will give you fresh ideas on what to write about in your next blog post.
